Installation is pretty easy, if u have an original white plastic tip under the knob, you may need to break it first in order to remove it. Keep in mind that the fabric/leather of the boot will need something to hang on to, like a zip tie. In terms of comfort, it's quite big which feels good in the hand, but you may lose some shifthing feel because of this. like it needs to move further and less responsive to shifting. But it's not a big deal. Recommended
