The item I received was different than the one described. it was also a little banged and dented in the corners though the packaging was in good shape.Eventually I found a commercial arrangement with the seller. Overall, not a real bargain but no so bad.
This product is very well made and finished, but as others have commented, the packaging was marginal for a 1.6kg flat plate product. It was protected only a by a single layer, tight fitting, OEM corrugated cardboard box. Mine came through undamaged, but the vendor needs to start adding bubble wrap and pack into a secondary box. This product is sold by a number of vendors and they all lie about the thickness - it is just over 8mm thick despite the 10mm that they normally detail in their descriptions and also in their engineering drawings. As I requested, AliExpress have authorised a partial refund to reflect this. To their credit, Toohr have now amended the description to 8mm (and should be supported for doing this) , although the engineering diagram still incorrectly shows 10mm, as does an old comment confirming 10mm in response to another buyers enquiry. The 8mm is flat and solid (not ribbed) and should be okay for anything other than perhaps the very heaviest routers.
