Loosely fit and seems fine for me. For size reference I wear 33 pants and aprox height is 5′5" and the ordered size was XL. Trousers are thin fabric and breathable. I suppose main downside is the color of the wave isn't exact with the Haori.
Haori looks nice overall. There are many pictures of this product or similar when shopping around, however I think the pictures are somewhat misleading. The seller hasn't used those photos, but it's hard to not associate those images with this product. The Haori is much shorter than expected. My aprox. height is 5'5" and the haori is just slightly longer past my waist. It would be a bit better if it were a bit past the midpoint of my thigh. The fabric pattern is off and the details show. When you look at the left side of the haori you notice the text is cut off at the seams. I ordered an XL and while it fits and is loose, I think a larger size is better overall for the additional height.
