it is hard for me to say if it is really cat 8, the cable look thin, in fact, the thinnest cable which I have in my house, from the outside it look thinner than the cat5 (of course, without checking the look of the inner part) so I do not know what to say about it, but I can say that on the cable itself nothing was written regarding to its category, I found only on the plastic bag a sticker with "cat 8". in fact, they can tomorrow offer this cable for sell as "cat 9" if they will change only the sticker on the bag. for this reason I don't have confident regarding to this product and so my score is 3 stars as neutral. a serious factory would wright on the connectors or the cable itself which category it is.
