Heating surface is only 6.5 centimeters, you will really need whatever you want to cool or heat up be a flat surface (cannot even have a little bend going upwards) or it will not work. I tried the heating function, but as I have just described, it will not work if there is bit of a bent in it (even after having it placed on there for more than an hour). When you have it on the cooling function, the ventilators are rather noisy, making it hard to focus on work, but does exactly what it needs to do (and perhaps with a little angling, you can also have a extra tiny ventilator to blow air in your direction). It is really cold to the touch when using that function (while the heating function with the USB cable also makes it possible to touch without hurting yourself). Will need to to buy at some point a mug that actually allows me to use it completely, as it is, it will stay boxed until its summer here.
