Bought this to help with cleanup in my woodworking shop. Seems to work well for fine dust from sanding or sawing, however for larger stuff like paper or tape scraps and hand plane shavings it does not work at all, they just spin inside unable to be pulled downwards.. Using it with 1200W shop vac, tried different combinations of hose diameters (50mm, 35mm) and lengths. I'm still keeping it for certain tasks like thickness planing however I'd really want it to work with hand plane shavings
