I ordered this to round out the order size so only paid about $3. But I've already wasted probably more than that cost in ink. I used a medium to dark purple and it came out black. The ink comes out thick and with rough edges on the line it puts on the paper. I spent about $5 on a Platinum Preppy Fountain Pen pen from a company in the US and it is four times better. I would not recommend this pen even for a child because of the amount of ink it wastes. Some mentioned it scratching the paper I didn't notice this.
