Absolute barebones powerline adapter. Mine came as a standard 2 prong US/Japan adapter. Plug and play, no pressing of buttons to join a network, they just joined each other. I removed my older setup, and utilized the three I purchase for the network. After less than 5 minutes walking around the house I had them all plugged in and working with one connected to the router. My speeds increased in my home wiring from 120 Mbit to 155 Mbit. I'm probable peaked out at this speed but I am very happy with it. BTW, the speedtest was from the internet, and not from within my network. Overall, saved a lot of money!
