I have bought both 12x45 and 8x30. While 8x30 (2000 vintage) was a bit inferior than the older 1991 version, my 12x45 is really impressive, well blackened. I had accidental proof of good sealing as my unit had caught a bit of moisture in the sheath (there was apparently no silicone absorber from the factory - I do not blame the seller). and there was a web of mould on the eyepiece lens, but I have cleaned it without a trace on the coating and after thorough inspection of insides everything is crystal clear. It came very well packaged. Highly recommended :)
Correction - apparently post-soviet 2-digit year designation is now replaced by 4-digit, thus my monoculars are 2019 vintage ;)
Very well packaged, good quality. Thx :-)
