The picture gets skewed a little outside the center, but for a lens at this price this is perfectly acceptable. The enclosed picture is a snapshot from a video that was shot with a low-cost phone with simple camera; the distance from the birds was about 5m (you can even see a flying wasp). I cropped off the outer part of the picture.
