All ok!
I bought these digital thermometers before so I knew what to expect. This came at the best price ever though. The important feature is the mechanical on/off switch. There is an almost identical looking one which has an electronic switch in place and this electronic switch shuts everything down after 30 seconds or some minutes. With the mechanical switch on is on and off is off, the battery keeps the thing powered for weeks and thats what I want. I just have some spare batteries around. One Thermometer, bring your own battery 9V, and one bare thermocouple type K with standard connector to plug it in the thermometer. Check the connector as quite often the wires of the thermocouple are not properly connected to the pins and this will give you off readings and a hell of a time to figure out the problem. This time everything was perfect.
