It's kind of 'round', the SS ring sits a little bit loose, it will work for sure but quality control could be inproved...nice touch is the included cotton steam matt.
A disappointing product, good idea but bad execution, the rivet holes are not in line, were the holes are punched the bamboo strips splintered, the bamboo frame is warped, the SS rim is twisted. The samples on the photos look way better, it needs an improvement in quality management.....I will go for the '304 stainless steel plate' with my next order....despite all this, I like the shop and the products.
