It's definitely not preventing blocking. This can NOT be used for printing PLA! Even running the heat block at 190 degrees with minimal retraction the filament will still clog up this heat break all the time. I did not manage to finish any PLA print without clog with this heat break. The seller shipped it promptly, but it still took a month for it to arrive, which is extremely slow for AliExpress Standard.
