Quick shipment, battery fits perfectly. Battery is no real 96991 mWh. In loading sequence it jumps from 85 to 100%, in discharge from 25% to 10%, so it seems battery cells are real ~82 442mWh, just controller fakes more capacity (or 1 of 6 cells is defective from beginning). After 5 charge/discharge cycles capacity dropped to 88236 mWh (9% wear). So I would prefer a battery with less capacity but cells that are rated for real, so the cells do not break down of to much stress because of a fake controller.
Your response is not correct: 1 This battery is not a genuine DELL battery. It's a Supstone branded product. Supstone is not a OEM of DELL. 2 This battery does not have full real usable capacity of 96991 mWh in terms of battery cells, as stated above. Full charge/discharge cycles change nothing on the behavior of jumping remaining capacity. As with 9% wear the jump is not so pronounced, it indicates controller is adapting to lower real capacity of cells. 3 Overcharging and overloading of cells strongly decreases their expected life time
