disappointed with the antenna. The interface is SMA but the diameter of the antenna base is too big to properly fit onto a handy portable transceiver. You'll need a shortie pig-tail sma to sma or an extension to make it work, else it wont fit at all. Either the volume/Squelch knob blocks the proper fitting or the radio body is too far recessed inside and the antenna wont screw on properly. Lousy design. Yet to check the SWR of the antenna in VHF/UHF operation.
