Shipped fast. Block comes wrapped in a corrosion inhibiting film inside a sealed plastic bag. Quality is very good; the dimensions are accurate and the measurement surfaces are flat and polished. Repeatably measured to be accurate to within < 0.001 mm of the nominal dimension across the entire surface (limited by micrometer resolution). Measurement took place after both the micrometer and the block had time to acclimate to the room temperature of 19°C. Only purchased one, so could not test wringing capabilities.
