This is a fantastic baseplate! There is just one flaw... but not insignificant. The bottom of the baseplate is an ARRI standard dovetail bridge. There is a protrusion at the bottom of the baseplate, in the middle, that has holes for screws. That protrusion prevents the baseplate from being mounted onto many ARRI dovetails, like 8Sinn lightweight ARRI dovetail plate, or the same by Wooden Camera, both of which I have been using with my other equipment. If the screw panel was removable, this problem would have been avoided. I don’t feel like this information was clear from the product description.
