Took me not even an hour to solder all components but was puzzled by two small capacitors that seemed to be obsolete. Still have to hook up transformers and plug in speakers and start listening (that will be really cool). Else, the board looked very good with appearantly nice wide copperstrips where needed and very well marked where componets to go. My only little minus is the lack of a good readable schematic. Could come in handy to troubleshoot or modify.
All items present, well packed
easy to assemble. low/no noise with max volume. Note that the bypass capacitor for the output tube (fu50 or russian gu50) is Not on the board and needs to be soldered - check the schematic, just keep away from the big resistor to avoid any heat. i also added a similar bypass capacitor for the 6j8p tube with good result - combined with the 12ax7-12au7 preamp i also bought from this store. There are only 6 mounting holes, would be more stable with 8, now the board bends a bit if some force is needed to insert the 6j8p tube (on the right side) to the socket. nevertheless good quality board and compot. highly recommended
