Received this watch today and or is very light, the digits are readable in normal light (have not tried in direct sun light yet). The illumination of the digits looks great. I bought the silver and the black models. The watch band is probably aluminum and feels great while wearing it. The setup is intuitive and didn't have to read the manual, but the manual is very clear and ready to follow. The casing is plastic and seems injection molding. Very very happy. Have not tried splashing water, I only wash dishes and don't wear watches while taking a shower so I can't say anything about durability or water resistance yet. Time will tell.
