Works fine but gets hot at 1 amp 24vdc>5vdc (so 19w dissipation! In this case i will order type wIth a larger heatsink

I bought this to filter the 50Hz AC buzz that affects a USB Bluetooth receiver. With a AC to 12V DC input it gives a steady 5V output but doesn't filter the the AC buzz. OK as a voltage step down but not fit for the purpose I had in mind.
My mistake, this requires a 12V DC input - five stars to the seller *****
