This sharpener is much better and quieter than a Drill Doctor 750X. Very Solid metal construction. There is a little adjustment needed for the proper relief and point splitting. I'm still working on dialing in these settings, but I don't see why I won't be able to get them perfect. I purchased the 110V machine with a CBN wheel. The CBN wheel gives a very nice finish on HSS and I've read that they can be used occasionally for carbide in order to touch up masonry bits. Looking forward to having this machine at the ready for many years to come.
