The boxes are all really difficult to open. i have to use a tool for twisting it open.

Just as described, very handy and small. You can easily carry this palette in your pocket or pencil case. It's sturdy and should withstand quite a bit of travelling. Half and full pans fit in - which is a nice surprise since full pans are a tad taller than half pans. Overall a good choice if you're into tiny palettes and don't need the lid as a mixing space :)
