One of the LEDs doesn't light up (card detect) but the device works ok. Have only tested the single operation, not the master. There is no slave setting. Good to resurrect or re-purpose old systems. Note: on similar devices, there are issues with grub (haven't tested it yet with this one). If grub erases your partition table on an emulated flash-to-IDE drive, switch to LILO or other boot loader that doesn't write on your disk when it shouldn't. Don't forget the noatime or relatime options to cut down more on those writings.

The adapter works great. I am however dissatisfied with the delivery service Sunyou/Meest. This item was not delivered! I had to pick it myself at warehouse at inconvenient location and in very inconvenient time.
