Description probably matches, but the power source is not really stable. With 2TB WD (5VDC 0.6A and 12VDC 0.45A) it keeps resetting interrupting the transfers and making it unusable. When connected to a PC power source the adapter works well. As a bonus the power cable is 3-pin, but only 2-wires and guess what, they are connected the other way around. Found out by getting the inducted electricity from the PC power source after using that cable there. Really unpleasant.
