I've made a quick comparison against my Nikon Monarch 8x42. I also have several other binoculars and have used many different types, and telescopes, over the years. Image brightness and field curvature seem very similar with minimal colour aberration based on daytime subjects against a bright snow background. In short I found it difficult to tell the difference between the two. I shall perform a star test as soon as we get a clear night. So far I'm very satisfied -
Well made and the glass is of high quality but I not happy with the binocular because it very hard to get the two images to become one. I have to bring the to two eye piece really close together and hold the binocular on a upward angle away from my eyes in order to get one image. Its unconformable and not a joy to use. If I had look at them in a store I would not of bought them at any price.
