The PCB solder joints and holes for the USB connector weren't done (certainly not as shown in picture); this being such small delicate holes, most people (me included) won't have the appropriate tools. There's way to determine resistor values from the PCB nor from the article information; thankfully this is a common kit and information can be found in other sellers.
