Thank you very much!
I purchased the 134.2KHZ unit for reading pet rfid tags. I use an ESP32 as the controller and a level shifter to convert the 5v TX pin from the module to 3.3V for the ESP32 (on the RX pin). This is working perfectly. It has to be close to the chip, but I already knew that. The chip is really tiny, like a grain of rice. I can read the entire HEX bytes, convert to decimal, determine what brand of chip is used, log the data on a website (using the ESP32). This was a fun project and didn't spend much money. My method would work for either the 125 or 134.2 UART modules ... I'm only reading, not writing. Any questions you can contact me from website: catpin.com
