It took a while to get to the Netherlands, but all birds were in perfect condition and all 10 have the same color of white. I was afraid our flimsy wallpaper would NOT work at all with the suggested glass glue method, so my husband drilled holes into the back of each bird (the material does not crack when you do this!) and we then inserted a little wooden peg, like those you find in IKEA furniture. Drilled holes in the wall small enough to be a snug fit for the pegs. See attached pictures. This allowed for some rotation of the birds until I was satisfied with their position, but obviously you should not keep fiddling with the hole, as it would then loose it’s hold on the peg. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase. Oh and I did not get charged extra customs fees. Not sure if I just got lucky there though.
