Building the kit was mostly straightforward. Most electrolytic capacitors are from (or at least look like) Nippon Chemicon and Nichicon, while for some reason 47u*25V were CapXon. And for some reason the power switch included is 3-position (I guess only those were available at the moment...?). Volume pot is indeed ALPS, the aluminum knob feels nice and 6.3mm jacks look high quality. Other than the switch and CapXons, seems to be a nice bit of kit and it sounds alright.
