Hard plastic case feels solid and well put together. Came with a reasonably detailed English manual and an adapter for my country, possibly added by this shop. The radio display was in English out of the box and it is simple and intuitive to use. Nice little radio that is ideal for emergency use and piece of mind for ocean Kayakers Etc. Works without DSC, MMSI registration but as with all radios the distress button will not operate without registration. Can simply read out the displayed GPS position in an emergency.
