Small scratches and minor imperfections but overall almost usable right out of the box. This is my second Luban plane after a low-angle No. 5 (see attached picture). Solid, hefty feel. I'd definitely be picking up more of these planes over time. Shipping was super fast compared, via Fedex. No complaints - confident in saying that Luban plans are made much better than some of the other western-made planes I've used - way better than Stanley sadly.
