I've been using this for a week now, and it works very well, I use it to fast charge a Galaxy S8 in between jobs as the phone gets used heavily in navigation mode. I have not used the 12v setting as the phone does not support it, however with one port running 9v and 1.4A, and the other running 5v and 1.3A, it works fine and does not warm up much at all, using a car (13v) supply. It's well worth paying for the plastic case, makes it much easier to use for a little extra. Very happy with the product and the seller.
