The product sent was not what is pictured.. The wire is silicone, not braided fibreglass. It is crimped on element with fibreglass insulation for about 1cm near the cartridge.. This might be enough insulation for light use, but I dont think it will survive being near a 450C supervolcano block. I don't know. It might be sufficient. I slid up the insulation boot about 1 inch it is fibreglass covered in silcone. Honostly I expected to be sent the product that is pictured. Not something else of different construction. I expected more from mellow, than to recieve a different product..
