Compared to my old chainring this one has trouble engaging shifting from the smaller ring. The chain will rub against the side but not catch on the teeth easily. I've been noticing metal shavings on the chain that I assume is from this. I've tried different things with no success: - 2 different new chains - index and adjusted the front derailleur - rotate the chainring to check that they were not out of phase with each other Also when I tried standing sprints the chain popped off at around 1200W. It works ok when the chain is engaged and not too much force is applied to it suddenly.
