It came seriously damaged and blunt. As the packing was a truly bombproof one (rightly, they are knives) I deduce that it left the vendor's facility already damaged. This simply unfortunately means no quality control at all. I wasted exactly half a day on stones, instead of 45 minutes, in order to get it ready for work. I was pleased by the packing and satisfied about the quality of the steel and the handle. Now, I love it
