This Power function 9686 educational kit is great. It’s got enough parts to make several builds. I settled on the crane because I just love it’s mechanical advantage demo of gear ratios and pulley ratios through the simple block and tackle. This has been a fun build and I recommend it for anyone who’s interested in legos, building cheap and easy engineering mechanics experiments (tension, compression, structural strength, gear ratios, pulley systems, and the basic concept of force and work=FxD).
