not quite sure why the description includes "steel" when there clearly is none (i didn't expect any, either). the plastic is sturdy. the parting line from the injection mold is slight but clearly present and might need manual removal (depending on the tubing). shavings from the thread cutting were still present, and one was in fact under the o-ring, so it would certainly have leaked if i didn't pay attention. not the shop's fault, just a cheap product.
