bought this for my old 3ds. I'm a goof and bought wrong grip. the holder does work, yes it's way more comfortable than holding the old 3ds that's not built for a adult like myself but the hand grip has 'bout a 1cm gap fr 3ds and gamepad holder and rattles because it's not a fit
I used sealant tape to modify the case to hold an old original 3DS. works perfectly.
