This is my second purchase of Pioneer branded trekking poles. They made some improvements over the olde (3-4 years ago) model: when folded, they're much shorter, the hand strap is made of single piece of variable width webbing (no stitches on it to cause rubbing/blisters on long usage). After one hike already seeing the color got some scratches, but that doesn't affect the functionality.
