Soft and well-made. Looks like the picture only the colors seem a bit darker. It looks even dumber in person too and I love it. No odd smells. It came packaged inside a clear plastic bag that was inside a poly mailer bag. Shipping took about 3 weeks. It's a good size for kittens and small cats. Medium sized cats could fit inside but might be too tight for them to enjoy. My cat is about 8 months for size comparison. Overall, good purchase. This did not disappoint!
