Itis basic USB DAC adapter, good for headphones for up to 100 ohm. Sound quality is OK, however, for the price you can not expect more. For those who wish to enter "audiophile" world with USB DAC (sort of audiophile, let's say very entry level) it would be better to spend a couple of dollars more in the same shop and buy some more quality item. So, in my opinion it is not "audiophile" quality, neither that is expected for the price, but in most cases much better than built in audio-card in the PC/laptop.
Update: I am unable to change volume on headphones using this DAC. No matter if I mute "USB AUDIO DAC" or turn volume down, or to the maximum, output volume in headphones is still the same, no change. I am not sure if this is a bug or feature. Other USB DAC products I have allow me to change volume.
