Very fast shipping and good packaging The case uses foam which is precut in squares so you can remove what you want. I however used a knive to do the cut out. underneath is a thin layer of foam so that you do not hit the cage once you do the cut out. i also cut the part i took out in half and then put it back this way you have even better protection with a thick layer of foam on each side.

Looks sturdy, my Glock 17 with red dot fits perfectly in the case + room to spare for mags and tools. Has a hole for a lock so I can take the case to the range. Very satisfied with it! I would suggest however to stick an additional thin layer of foam underneath the foam you can modify.
