When they have doubts that given version of a device can be used in your country without issues you will be informed about it. If after that you will be not sure about your choice they will return you your money instead of sending you an item you could be potentially dissatisfied with. Because it was unclear which version of a device it is I got my money back. However in official Vivo store you can find information that Chinese version supports multi-language, google & OTA update and that this is what they call global rom.
