The connection is now installed. The USB port connector is 1mm bigger in length than the original and won't fit in the phone case. Happily I found a rapid and good solution and now I have my phone back to life and charging! I needed to extract a 1mm from the phone case for the piece to be correctly inserted in the case. It works perfectly! Thanks
