Wow, this thing works on my 13 y/o Lenovo SL500 notebook. I switched from T8300 to this T9600, the result is about +20% but the jump from 3MB L2 cache to 6MB is very satisfying. CPU temps are a bit higher but this is also a 35W TDP, stock fan can handle, 60C degree temps are normal. The gift thermal paste is a huge life saver, because my older one got dried out. Stepping is a bit more than stock, 266 MHz x 10.5>11 = 2925 MHz

Got here eventually. Well packed. Doesn't work in my Aspire 5315. Was a long shot. Have to stick with the T9500.
