Description does not explain this circuit well. This CAN be useful for Arduino or Pi GPIO (optocoupler will level-shift the signal), but NOT in the default configuration. "In" is connected to one anode/cathode of a bidirectional optocoupler (a PS2705 clone). The other A/K is connected to a 2.2 Kohm resister. The resistor is connected to the jumper to select between the DC- and DC+ inputs (which drive the LEDs & Relay) to chose the active logic level. This resistor value and optocoupler specs seem to give a valid voltage range of approx 3.3V to just over 6v. BUT, by using the DC- and DC+ inputs through this resistor isolation is broken between the supply for the relay and the signal! If you wish to use this with true isolation (i.e. not the same source as you wire to DC+ & DC-) you can work-around this by connecting the + or - supply (depending on the desired logic level) of your level signal directly to the middle pin of the jumper.
