The rod arrived quickly and very well packaged. The rod has a main part (in black color) and a yellow tip section. The quality of the main part seems very good. The yellow tip section however does not look great: excessive amount of glue around the guides. When I first tried the rod, I liked it a lot. It gives a very good feeling of the lure. Unfortunately, the rod tip broke after a few casts. The line had wrapped around the tip section. This is usually only happens when the top guide has "edges" that "catch" the line. It looks like the rod tip part is NOT made of carbon. The material is entirely yellow (also the inner fibres). I have never seen yellow carbon. So my summary is: if the rod tip was made better, this rod would be very, very good. Unfortunately, the rod tip is bad. I advise the manufacturer to redesign the top section.
