great little unit with adjustable gain (very handy for gain adjustment to other sources). sounds way better than expected. Super item at a super price. pretty fast shipping. good packaging.
The included 12 V power supply has a US plug! The power supply that came with the pre-amplifier, is useless in the Netherlands and almost certainly in most of Europe as well, as its pins are much too thin to make proper contact. Moreover the adapter has the wrong shape to fit into wall or extension cord sockets. It is too big for the round hole. This is not the first time for an order of mine from China to have an unsuitable adapter coming with it. In fact, I have never received a proper travel adapter with any order. Nowadays the power supplies included with goods form China usually come with the apropriate plug for the destimation country. Not this Nobsound device, though ... Admittedly the ad doesn't tell or show this detail. I hope for a proper solution from the seller.
I ordered a few US-EU plug adapters from China after careful deliberation as to what to get. It works fine that way. I preferred this above getting another power supply as the original one was advertised as noise-free and one may not be so lucky with other supplies. Whichever way, we've been moving and all our records are somewhere in boxes, so I haven't actually tested the pre-amp yet.
