As an experienced model ship builder, I wanted to take a look at those Chinese kits that are very inexpensive compared to what kits usually cost. I chose this kit from NIDALE and did I get an education. This stuff is substandard. For example, the wood for the bulkheads (the ribs) is so cheap it breaks and brittles under the x-acto blade. I spent more time repairing than assembling. The laser burn marks cannot be sanded (necessary for the glue to stick) or the planks will break. As the saying goes you get what you paid for – and even less.
