I honestly don't know what this blue led is. Output and characteristics are basically the same as xhp50, it's just like xhp50 without phosphorus. I am not aware that Cree produces these, but I knew that when I bought it, wanted to try it out, just for fun. It doesn't have that deep blue, as other blues usually have, that deep, inspection light, this one appears to be above 450nm, but who knows. Anyway, good emitter. I would really like to know what it is, it's unfortunate that store doesn't list true manufacturers and sheets. AliExpress sellers always just write the name of a Cree led most similar to the one listed. Very often I just look at led and figure out which one it is, and then ask sellers if they are going to ship the same led as on pictures, or the one mentioned in item description. This seller offers a bit more info, but apparently chooses not to "burden" us about this, blue one. I really don't care about exact bins, but not knowing the brand of apparently good led... weird

I had problems with this blue 5050 led. It worked withous issues @ 3A, but when I pushed it to around 5, dome started smoking, beleive it ot not. The some turned black, so I dedomed half of the dome, again ok at 3A, turn to turbo, see smtn's wrong again, look at it, and I see a flashlight full of smoke. Then completely dedomed it, which is not too hard, fortunatelly, again - ok at 3A, but after half a minute at 5A, led died. So, not even close to Cree xhp50, which can easily handle up to 7-8A at short pulses, until temp protection kicks in, without significantly shortening the lifespan. Ofc, I know there's no suck thing as 450nm xhp50, but advertising it as one suggests it is comparable, and it is not. Well, actually it suggests Cree started manufacturing 450nm xhp50s, but everything goes on Ali. Anyway, bad dome material, sensitive for high power led.

Apparently authentic 50.2. Pushed it to around 3000 lm, and you can probably get a few hundred more, but really don't pay for. Up to 4A, heat/luminosity is well balanced, I am setting up a driver to push 6.5A in turbo mode, but c8 host can handle just around 2-3 minutes before safety step-down. Overall nice led, I never used these before. I am more into Nichia :)
